Name of a Flower
Shiuli is the Bangla name of a flower that has deep-rooted associations with Durga Pujo. At the end of the monsoon season, just as the beautiful blue skies of autumn appear, early mornings are filled with the soft and sweet scent of Shiuli.
These night-blossoming flowers bathe the late-night air in their gentle but deep aromatic presence, which crescendos at the break of dawn. Waking up to their scent has always been one of the many natural signs of the arrival of the biggest festival, at least for the people of Bengal.

Sibling to Sho and a friend of all things green, Ingela is also a multidimensional artist and creator. Her keen eye for brand design helps Shiuli become what it is.
